Description (Modern): Nearly complete pedestal or winch. One large fragment missing. Hollow ring which is finished on both sides, thus eliminating the option of this being a large fragment of an incomplete pot. Made on a pottery wheel. Many small etched lines, perhaps used by the potter to allow the thick clay to dry faster.
