| Description (Modern): | Small copper rod covered with bitumen at back to form a handle. Wood chips can be seen in the bitumen but x-ray shows that no complete wooden block surrounds the copper rod. Wood chips may have been used to help solidify the bitumen into its pear-shaped handle form. X-rays also show that the copper rod has a hole in the back; it resembles a cloak pin that has been reused as a tool. |
