Description (Catalog Card): Shell bull. Very delicately & boldly carved in white shell. A figure of a bull, facing rt, in exactly the position of the 'Ubaid copper frieze bulls, with the left fore leg bent at the knee and planted on the ground as if the animal were about to rise; the body in profile, the head turned to the front.1
