Description (Modern): | Rectangular plaque, very roughly made showing only the barest outline of the figure. Hands hang down at the sides and the figure has stumpy legs (perhaps a frontal depiction of the figure crouching with hands on knees?); Three faint horizontal lines indicate the ribcage; coarse yellow clay with gaps for missing inclusions; incised and carved design rather than mould made; tool marks on the back.1 |
