Description (Modern): | limestone with steatite core, roundels. Hunter, hero and animals rampant. UE X: a leopard and a lion rampant attack a bearded bison and an antlered deer. A nude hunter grips the leopard by the tail and stabs it in the neck. His head in profile is of archaic bird-like type, pointed nose, round eye, wild locks, and no beard. There is a scorpion in the field below. Shell cylinder with rings of steatite inset in the ends but decayed. |
